Alt 92.3 HD-2

I like to stream this station while I’m charting at work and I noticed all the recent material was from shortly before they announced their flip to a WINS simulcast. So I went through their recently played, and it seems their playlist has been the same as Autumn 2022 since midnight EST. Hmmm.

So are you saying you think they might end this too?

RadioInsight reports that WERV in suburban Chicago shifted from classic rock to classic alternative.
Is it likely there would be more consensus among listeners for the older alternative songs than the current material?
While I don't see this being placed on a NYC station, perhaps it could work in the suburbs of this market?

We have 105.5 WDHA here in NJ

Let me understand. They took away the music that makes people happy, and they put on the news
so people could worry more. I wonder why they have layoffs.
Not quite...

The layoffs are all associated with corporate debt payments. 92.3 is making more in revenue since becoming all-News as it is the third highest billing station in the country now.

Wait...are you saying that you can't pay debt with happiness?
And for the record, it was only making very few people happy. The ratings and billings were poor. And the people that did listen incessantly argued over what music should/should not have been played on the station. Doesn't sound so happy to me!!
