They preempted that for this?

My NBC station WYFF in Asheville is all Olympics all the time expect for the news and the Today Show. Kelly Clarkson isn't on, nor is the 4pm or 5pm news (don't know what else is being preempted). Jeopardy and Wheel are on WLOS, so they are unaffected. i think Entertainment Tonight is airing too, but not sure. Checked and it's airing but not Inside Editon.
Same with WHO 13 in Des Moines it's all Olympics most of the time. They air their regular news from 4:30am to 7am the Today Show from 7am to 8am pre-emptimg the 8am-9am portion.

They pre-empt Hello Iowa, the Noon News, 2 episodes of People Puzzler, Daytime Jeopardy, Jeopardy, and the 4pm News, and Wheel of Fortune plus all the late night programs till 3am.

Wheel of Fortune airs at 3am and Jeopardy at 3:30am. The rest of the time it's mostly Olymipic Coverage.

WHO 13 in Des Moines is not airing Daytime Jeopardy at all but is airing the second Jeopardy episode at 3:30am that normally airsa at 3:30pm

Wheel of Fortune is airing at 3am instead of 6:30pm so they can air The Olympic Zone.
WPBN airs Wheel at 7 and Jeopardy! at 7:30 and does not air Olympic Zone. WPBN did bump Jeopardy! to 11:30am on 7/26 as the NBC Primetime replay of the Opening Ceremony started at 7:30pm while normal Primetime coverage starts at 8pm (all times ET)

WBZ-TV in Boston is airing a preseason football game tomorrow night because the New England Patriots are facing off against the Carolina Panthers and the action starts at 6:30pm ET so this means that CBS Evening News, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy along with CBS Primetime have been moved to sister channel WSBK.

I know that preseason football may get even a little tense but that's just what it is so chances are that my Bell Fiber Op may opt to switch WSBK over to CTV 2 Atlantic to simsub The Big Bang Theory in place of Wheel!, something I might not dare to enjoy.

I'm in the Panthers market so I guess that affects stations here too.

Another preseason football game on Thursday night. This time between the New England Pats and the Philly Eagles. This is going to affect CBS primetime in some Eastern U.S. markets.

WBZ-TV in Boston like last time is transferring their programming over to sister channel WSBK but the real problem is that my Bell Fibe Op may opt to switch WSBK over to CTV 2 Atlantic to simsub TBBT in place of Wheel.

My TiVo said it recorded "Jeopardy" and the Carolina Panthers were playing. WFMY Greensboro, NC isn't the station I normally watch, though, and besides, the show is in reruns.

The only CBS affiliates showing that game are WBZ and WCAX (Burlington, VT). All other affiliates are FOX, ABC, NBC or My network.

Wheel is in reruns so who cares???

Here in Phoenix, Cardinals are playing preseason football in Indy against the Colts on KPHO (CBS) bumping the CBS Weekend News to sister indy KTVK at 4:30 as well a rerun of The Equalizer at 7. I'm sure AZ Family did similar scheduling for last week's game vs. New Orleans. No worries about programming conflicts next week since the Cards game at the Broncos will be on CBS, but it'll be nat'l televised next Sunday.

Vikings game was at 3:25 today (don’t get the oddball time since pre-season) and in Mankato, MN it was on KEYC CBS. The WNBA game was moved to the365 (KMNF LD3) since it is also in HD. Lots of MSU Mankato football and hockey games are on it.

Last night & again tonight, KSAZ (FOX Phoenix) will bump primetime off to 11PM after the late news to show live coverage during primetime of the RNC which they've wisely scheduled (looking on Zap2It & labeled as To Be announced) from 7-8:30 MST taking possible overrun which is inevitable to account.
KSAZ (FOX Phoenix) will be doing the same for the DNC tonight & on Wednesday bumping primetime to 11PM. According to Zap2It, no coverage expected tomorrow, though they will show the acceptance speech for Kamala Harris on Thursday after baseball. No surprise seeing the amount of coverage & how far out of the way FOX 10 is going considering Arizona's a battleground state & also they sent their main anchor, John Hook, to both conventions in Milwaukee & Chicago.

Maybe because it's only the first day of the convention, but KSAZ's showing the Live Now from FOX feed for coverage. Checking just now (8:12 MST) & they've switched to the FOX News feed.

Looks like KPHO (CBS Phoenix) might bump off their late newscast there thanks to long night 1 of the DNC going straight to the Late Show after the 2 scheduled showings of CBS reruns.
A very long night. I kept hearing Biden was going to be the keynote speaker. Then they had one speech after another. Even two of his family introducing him. Didn't they know it was his bedtime?

Seriously, why couldn't they schedule fewer speeches so those of us in the East can go to bed? I recorded Biden's speech but have yet to watch any of it.

All I can say is thank goodness for C-SPAN.

I didn't even get to see all of Biden's speech. Who would have dreamed it would go on past midnight?

So, did this mean Fallon, Kimmel and Colbert were dropped entirely?
