Harris campaign spends millions on Spanish language radio

We wonder on this forum "who still believes in radio"? Here is someone who still does

The fact is that both parties are spending millions on radio, although a lot of it is concentrated in the 8 or so battleground states:

Neither party is taking anything for granted, in that it's still a close race in all key states. We don't have a national election, because it's all decided by state electoral voters and the electoral college. So the key for each of the parties is to win in those states, and radio is still a good way to reach voters.

The other part of the radio story is that talk radio is free publicity for one party, and there is no equivalent on the other side.

They may need to add some French/Creole, the way Trump, Vance and entire right-wing ecosystem is demonizing and threatening deportation of an immigrant community in Springfield, Ohio.

Time to bring back the Fairness Doctrine, not that it was so effective in the first place, but at least it instilled at least a moderate sense of responsibility for one's words.

Clarification: the "language of the people" in Haiti is Kreyol. As the education system has decayed in the last several decades, speakers of French are fewer and fewer and mostly in the highest income level homes

The Fairness Doctrine actually created the media environment we have today, and there's no going back.
If you're interested in the actual history of political talk on radio and Fairness Doctrine, spend a few minutes listening to 'The Divided Dial':
I think you'll likely have a change of heart on that opinion.
