100.5 has been back on since this morning. 107.3 came back up over the weekend. That’s about all of the progress so far.

93.3 and 106.3 are off the air again. 97.7 in Greenville is completely off the air now.

103.9 WSHP has filed an STA due to a tower collapse. They’re trying to operate from a temporary site at Paris Mountain with vastly reduced power:

Poder 102.9 is back on the air despite parent station WROQ being completely off. 96.9 is simulcasting it although the RDS says The Truth Network (silence on parent station WKVG-HD3).

No HD or RDS on 92.5 or 102.5 now.

Their Facebook page says they are back up to full power. Audacy had sent in a mobile truck with a short stick that they were broadcasting from at a low power for a bit.
They had the longest outage of any of the big FM’s. 104.9 is back on now and 96.9 is back to Truth Network.

Pretty much everything is back on now. WHQA 103.1 came back on yesterday, as did 91.9 WHRT in Cokesbury. 106.3 came back on again at some point.

The 103s are both still off the air. 103.9 will be quite a while, not sure what’s up with 103.3. WHQB 90.5 is still off the air, as is the 105.9 translator in Greenville for LifeFM. In Greenwood County, both 103.5 WZSN (GNN) and 105.1 WGFJ (His Radio) are still off the air completely.

From what I’ve observed, the only stations that stayed on the entire time were 89.3, 90.1, 91.5, 93.7, 98.1, 98.9, 99.9, and 106.9. 92.5 and 102.5 were basically on the whole time except for a few hours today which I assume was an outage or for maintenance since they’re at the same site. Still no HD or RDS on either.

Kinda Surprised how 106.9 The Light stayed working with no interruptions, considering how some of the Carolina's worst impacts of the storm, was very close to WMIT's (very remote) transmitter location.

Wind Speeds of 106 MPH were reported nearby
at Mount Mitchell (the namesake for WMIT).

This doesn't really belong here but did WMIT have any programming that benefitted those who needed radio as a way to receive communications? Surely they did because it's part of the Billy Graham organization and Franklin Graham's Samaritan's Purse is helping.

I saw Franklin Graham interviewed by one of the Charlotte TV stations. he said his power was out but he used a generator sparingly.

99.9 WKSF also has a very remote transmitter on Mount Pisgah with WNC coverage almost as good as WMIT, also limited or difficult to access, I'm surprised they also maintained operation without interruption.

Both WKSF & WMIT 's transmitters are close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, which was closed by the storm, thus limiting their accessibility. So I would imagine it would've taken an extra long time to restore power there, in those circumstances.
