Bertolucci Out at KFI

Whoever is to replace her will have some very big shoes to fill. With KFI's phenomenal success, it is incumbent that the next PD try to even outperform her, if that is possible.

Day to day programming decisions are now going to be made at the regional/national level at iHeart. In other words no more PD's at the cluster. It's part of a major restructuring in progress.

I hope it fails it's a crappy decision to save money 💰 💰 going the cheap way always doesn't work. I hope they learn a lesson from this
 
And in music formats, that makes sense. But at a talk station that isn't primarily syndicated stuff? Where pep-talks, what-the-hells and everything in between are SO critical?

The local talk at KFI is really a function of the host, not the PD. The PD does scheduling. You can attribute the Sunday afternoon show with college kids to the local PD. But that decision doesn't have to be made in LA,
 
Her boss knew what she did every day, and made this decision. As far as we know, they're also keeping the local talk show hosts.
