Day to day programming decisions are now going to be made at the regional/national level at iHeart. In other words no more PD's at the cluster. It's part of a major restructuring in progress.Whoever is to replace her will have some very big shoes to fill. With KFI's phenomenal success, it is incumbent that the next PD try to even outperform her, if that is possible.
I hope it fails it's a crappy decision to save money 💰 💰 going the cheap way always doesn't work. Like I said it's a crappy decision. It's a possibility that the music formats Will be like jukeboxes with no djAnd in music formats, that makes sense. But at a talk station that isn't primarily syndicated stuff? Where pep-talks, what-the-hells and everything in between are SO critical?

The local talk at KFI is really a function of the host, not the PD. The PD does scheduling. You can attribute the Sunday afternoon show with college kids to the local PD. But that decision doesn't have to be made in LA,
Set up lunch with Robin Bertolucci and tell her that. She'll love it.
I'm sure she would. Won't change her situation.
The point is your ignorance of what Robin Bertolucci did every day at KFI. You have way undersold one of the best talk radio PDs in America.
Reminder: I'm not her boss.
We knew.
Her boss knew what she did every day, and made this decision. As far as we know, they're also keeping the local talk show hosts.
Nobody is saying this happened because she was bad at her job.

No, but YOU said:
So she tells them what to say? They're just scripted automatons who just say what they're told?
