Apparently the game was being played at Citi Field.

They did the same last year.
Though I do love the play-by-play, I have to admit this is a turn off to non-Dominicans and might make them tune to WXNY.
WSKQ just cut off the legal ID within the first 5 seconds and went right back into the game.
The game was also televised on WPIX.
I would guess Telemicro (their stations "Independencia" and "KeBuena" carry the games in DR), but they've only mentioned airing on WSKQ and not the previous two stations.I'm wondering who the source is for the game. Obviously not ESPN

Is WXNY as focused on the Dominican community as La Mega? The two stations sound so similar.
Everyone in NYC is focused on the Dominican population. The Puerto Rican community has not grown since the late 60's and the 18-49 group is third generation and does not use Spanish. All other groups are too small (Colombians, Ecuadorians, etc.) or not well sampled by Nielsen (Mexicans).
There's a tournament going on in Miami, with teams from four winter leagues (Dominican, Colombian, Puerto Rican, Venezuelan) involved. The final is today -- a Puerto Rican team against one from Venezuela.
