In a filing today, Bridgelight is selling their 94.3 FM translator to Educational Media Foundation for $430,000.
W232AL, licensed to Pomona, NY, has an interesting history, at one time decades ago being part of Gerry Turro’s “Jukebox Radio”. The transmitter site has bounced around from Pomona, to Stony Point, to Hartsdale, temporarily to Yonkers on an STA with flea power to keep the license alive, and most recently to Alpine, NJ.
The license is now in the process of being moved to Fort Lee, NJ from Alpine, NJ. The proposed 75 watt ERP will throw a decent signal over much of Manhattan, the Bronx and a bit of Queens.
But $430k?
