There seems to be some "pipeline " for stations directly north or south of me. I don't know why that is, but stations that you could draw a direct line to often get good reception.

I'll try recording them again if I hear them. It was one of the strongest stations ever heard from here.

Yes. What I meant were stations exactly north or south of me.
Now I see, interesting. Got to wonder if it could have something to do with the earth's magnetic field, or possibly rotation.
During the day, mid-afternoon around 2-3 p.m. or so, I've gotten KOA-850 Denver and 880-KRVN very clearly here in central Texas.

Is 800 XEERG Ojo de Agua a "new" station since XEROK went away? Listed as 10 kw day 2.5 kw night.
It’s been around for a while. I first logged it back in September 2020. I’ve read that it used to be XEDD and has been on 800 since 2000.

At first, with the instrumental music, I was tempted to think it might be Radio Enciclopedia from Cuba (on an auxiliary frequency), but I heard "la Biblia" and "palabra de Dios", which indicates it could be a Christian station.
Possibly a Spanish program from Trans World Radio in Bonaire?
Thanks! That's quite a distance, about 1700 miles it says. I believe the real strong station I heard the other night was probably Mexico.
i think the other one was TWR too, as i said... there are no super powers on 800 from mexico anymore

I think you're right because it was strongest to the south, not southeast like the other station.
But would they be carrying religious programming? XHERG/XEERG is a sports station.
I suppose it's possible that they might carry both kinds of programming, maybe brokering religious content in off-peak hours or something, the way some US cable TV networks do.
In the clip in post #4930, there's an ID starting about 0:20. At 0:25 she says "desde Bonaire", so definitely TWR.

I didn't catch that part, my understanding of spoken Spanish is very spotty, but I can clearly hear that now.
It's almost certainly TWR.
