Noticed today: Denver Open Media's translator K225BS (92.9) has begun rebroadcasting Boulder's KVCU (1190), a rare example of a student-run college AM station. The translator had been rebroadcasting KUVO-HD3, programmed by Denver Open Media. KUVO-HD3 continues with the Denver Open Media programming. It seems odd that Denver Open Media wouldn't use its translator to rebroadcast the HD3 subchannel that it's programming. This is clearly not an accident based on the RDS readout pictured below. KVCU DJs are giving the translator ID fairly often.
The Denver Open Media website doesn't reflect the change of primary station for K225BS. (Edited this sentence to be more precise.)
The translator, located in the River North (RiNo) area north of downtown, is in stereo but the program material is currently in mono.
