It was surprising that WOIO picked them up in the first place, as Rewind's obvious destination would have been WJW. However, with the launch of Gray's The 365 and Outlaw at the beginning of 2024, WOIO needed to offload a diginet to carry both networks (the other being on WUAB), and since Rewind was ending at the same time, it was obvious that Rewind was going to get the boot. On top of that, WOIO constantly had feed issues with Rewind, particularly near the end of their affiliation, which made watching the network impossible at times. At least Rewind TV is coming back to Cleveland. Wasn't too happy when WOIO dropped the channel.
Could be some shuffling of programs with WJW. Maybe some re-runs of CW programs? Probably most of the current daytime syndicated shows will remain. I'm pretty sure the movies will be gone by then. I not holding my breath for an improvement, more of a downgrade with previously recorded airings of Fox 8 News and other Nexstar produced content.I'm even more interested to see what's airing on the main WBNX signal come September once the CW comes back to the station.
