Honestly, I really don't think it matters. The vast majority of television viewers in general don't really care about what company owns what station, just that they can watch Wheel, Jeopardy! certain network primetime shows and the upcoming NFL game.Meanwhile, that vast majority of viewers that are unaware of WBNX now being under Nexstar's ownership probably have no idea why Fox 8's weather coverage is now airing on the station.
And I would hazard a guess that 99% of WBNX's viewers didn't know that a 100-year old preacher owned it prior and that it was in an estate for over three years.
