WBNX to be acquired by Nexstar & re-affiliate with the CW in Fall 2025 creating a duopoly with FOX affiliate WJW

Then it would appear that some filings are missing from the FCC's LMS. That one that I linked was a minor modification, which could have been a power boost or re-pattern of the signal, which in my case, would have made sense. It's hard to tell since there are no attachments to further explain the situation.
That might be a @Michi question. I'm going by what the sources say, first and foremost, and they all pretty much said the same thing.

Much of the old article had multiple inaccuracies (and that wasn't even counting the fallacy that Angley bought the WCOT-TV permit) that needed to be fixed. For one, WBNX never reused the old channel 4 mast on the 1100 tower (would it even have been operable after 30 years???), they had a mast mounted on it which forced then-WWWE onto an aux for several days.

Without going through 13 pages of thread, was there something you wanted me to look at/look for??

OK. FCCdata.org sheds some more light on things...

What's unclear is what the modification in the 2000-2002 time frame did, as I can't seem to find any data on that. So now I know that WBNX originally transmitted from the WTAM/3WE tower in 1985, then started broadcasting from Parma in 1993, with a modification in the early 2000s that obviously did something. As mentioned before, I assumed that WBNX transmitted from the Brecksville/Snowville Road site up until 2000, which was when I saw an improvement in reception, and when the WBNX call sign in front of the WTAM tower was removed.

Is WJW adding more news in the fall and just putting some of their syndication on WBNX, I wouldn't be surprised if Karamo moves to WBNX and I think WJW also airs Steve Wilkos he'll move over as well. I could see Extra moving to WJW and TMZ as well.

We don't need anymore Fox 8 News. However, it wouldn't be surprising if the 10 o'clock re-airing gets bumped over to WBNX and at an earlier time, like at 11 to compete with the 3, 5 & 19.

What they should do (but likely won't) is:
  1. Move the 7pm news to WBNX outright as a lead-in to CW primetime and make it an hour; that's already been done with CW affiliates with news-intensive Fox affiliate sisters in Denver and St. Louis and it works just fine. They would still be very competitive against news on 3, 5 and 43.
  2. Launch a live 11pm newscast for WBNX.
  3. Move Extra and TMZ to WJW and air both at 7:30 and 11 and run Family Feud at 7. Dish Nation (which I'm shocked is still on the air) can stay on WBNX.
  4. Move Jennifer Hudson to WJW and put it at 11am. It means one less hour of New Day Cleveland but reair that from 1 to 2 on WBNX.
  5. Pair up Big Bang Theory with Young Sheldon and air both on WBNX in the 6 and 10pm hours.
  6. Put Friends reruns back on weeknights on WBNX or move them to WJW.
It's fairly obvious now that the days of running game shows for eight straight hours (even cheapo ones like People Puzzler) are going away on WBNX and the lineup will be dramatically different.

Dish Nation is ending it's run in Sep FOX cancelled it, I agree was very surprised it lasted as long as it did I thought it should've ended in 2019 and FOX kept Page Six TV in my opinion.
