I’ll say 0I wonder how many stations in America and Canada will try a Christmas in July stint this year. Any comments?
Mix 106.9 in Louisville (WVEZ) is going all Christmas on July 25th. This is the first time that the station has done such a thing. SummitMedia seems to be struggling as of late.I’ll say 0
Let me guess, did they also play....Nat King Cole 'September Song', Eva Cassidy 'Autumn Leaves'. But probably not Earth, Wind, and Fire 'September' or Green Day's 'Wake Me Up When September Ends'.Not quite the same. I was listening to a special show of autumn-themed music. And I heard a Christmas song!
Okay, not Christmas. Anything by Vince Guaraldi sounds like Christmas because he did so many songs for the Christmas special.
This was actually "Great Pumpkin Waltz" from "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown". The same song was played on last year's autumn-themed show.
There was at least one version of "Autumn Leaves". I know Roger Williams' was played.Let me guess, did they also play....Nat King Cole 'September Song', Eva Cassidy 'Autumn Leaves'. But probably not Earth, Wind, and Fire 'September' or Green Day's 'Wake Me Up When September Ends'.
'Autumn In Rome' Tony Bennett, and/or 'Autumn In New York' Ella Fitzgerald? There was at least one version of "Autumn Leaves". I know Roger Williams' was played.
As for the others I don't remember. Definitely not Earth Wind and Fire on that station and very definitely not Green Day.
I think Ella was played but don't remember what song.'Autumn In Rome' Tony Bennett, and/or 'Autumn In New York' Ella Fitzgerald?
