When I lived in Austin in the 1960s and early 1970s KOB was a regular at night with a fair signal, distance ~615 miles. Far enough to the southeast to not be in the deep part of the null towards NYC. WABC was a much tougher catch, usually wee hours of the morning with a lot of fade, distance ~1510 miles.Anyone listened to the vacant signal lately, especially at night?
Usually, here in Austin area, we could hear KAAM at night, but weakly. Sometimes, KKOB could null it.
