The Trump Administration rants about ABC News And NBC, Says They Should Lose FCC Licenses

Correction. Not "immigrant". Illegal immigrant (with multiple Mara Salvatrucha tattoos, impossible to ignore on a native Salvadoran, The "Salva" in "Salvatrucha" is a contraction of "Salvador".
He was wrongly deported to a gulag and ordered returned, the Senator from my state dug up the old traffic stop. He had permission to be here. I don't believe "illegal" means subhuman but the skinny guy things crossing an imaginary line and picking crops entitles you to cruel and unusual punishment. If that's too political I'm sorry

This is getting out of hand and ridiculous! At this rate Trump’s dream of wiping liberal media off the map seems to be coming true.
And liberal people. Look up that blood-curdling screech from Miller last Friday. Yes, he called for naming the Democratic Party a terrorist organization, all of us need fined, bankrupted and some of us jailed under RICO for "criminal acivities" (like organizing a protest). ON FOX NEWS SO THIS IS ABOUT THE CONTENT OF MEDIA

"Publicly protected" was what I should've typed.
When the entry level is $40-50-100 million to purchase an FM station, which few can afford, and the broadcast owners' FCC-enforced situation, along with potential competitors practically barred from entry because the major players own most of the most powerful stations, leaving mostly lower-powered "pirate" stations, non-comms or community stations, it's a monopoly in many eyes.
you could have a commercial FM in a small town for a few hundred thousand, if that

But it is not "protected". It is regulated.

An FM in NYC has been for sale at $50 million for over a year.

And you can get a bunch of smaller market FMs for as little as a few hundred thousand dollars. Just watch the weekly sales reports that Lance has on his site. And, outside the largest markets, there are plenty of FM stations that might be available for much lower prices.

There are viable markets where you can get an operating FM for less than the cost of a nice home. Look at the sale by Buddy Shula of a full FM in Key West, FL, for $250,000. The same week WPGI in Myrtle Beach and WYAY in Wilmington, SC went for $125,000 combined. WWRW in Big Rapids, MI, went for $108,000.

WACV in Montgomery, AL, went for $430,000 recently. In a bigger market, WPYA in Birmingham went for $2.6 million and that is in a Top 100 market. And so on.

We now have a confirmation that ABC O&O KABC-TV is the target of an FCC complaint filed against them over the Jimmy Kimmel situation.
This is all astroturf. Don't think TPUSA is some cute little organization that hosts pizza parties and concerts. Charlie Kirk left a $12 million estate. This organization has brought the country to its knees with mass doxxing for criticism of the Holy Martyr. Your best friend and favorite nurse have just been put on the "celebrating murder" list to make them unemployable

Disney’s/ABC’s other show “The View” continue to ignore on the Jimmy Kimmel situation. Not shocking given that Chairman Carr is after KABC-TV Los Angeles and the main offices of Disney in an FCC Complaint + The View, WABC-TV and ABC News have to watch out for similar stuff heading in their direction by Chairman Carr.

Just as a clarification, $12 million today is not "rich". Kirk reportedly got some money for private (corporate meetings, etc) presentations, just like most celebrities do.

... who won an election where the person who I assume reflects your views lost.

According to what data?

My opinion is anyone with $1 million or more is "rich".
Read any of the personal finance magazines, like Kiplinger for example.

If you are retired, a reasonable return on $1 million will be around $30,000 a year, often taxable. Add that to the average Social Security retirement payment, and you are just above the poverty level.

Unless I'm interpreting the quote wrong, I believe the "holy martyr" in this case to be Charlie Kirk and not Donald Trump. I mean Trump ain't dead yet...

$12M net worth at age 31 is a very high degree of wealth. A large number of people that age don’t even have 0.1% of that to their name.

This reminds me of a quote from somebody criticizing the “Occupy Wall Street” protests some years back. Their put down of the protestors was “Those people think someone making a million dollars a year is rich.” Completely tone deaf.

And by that rate of return, if you have $12 million invested you would receive about $360,000/year in investment income, in addition to whatever other income you have. I’d say $12 million in assets makes a person “rich”
