There definately an issue with 93.3 HD. IBOC levels at -14 dB , transmitter at full power yet signal not great on FM and worse on HD. American tower is going to do an annual inspection and sweep the antenna, we are planning to discuss some issues and hopefully they can fix it.

Not sure what your talking bout on Oct 2nd though, cant discuss that

Is the antenna the original from the 1990 construction of the 93.3 tower?

Well, TU has filed with the FCC requesting the KESS call for 93.3 effective October 2, part of a call swap with 107.1 in DFW. We know you are likely not at liberty to disclose anything. Specifically discussed on another thread.

Good job on your Tejano station. Was listening on my way to work. The music sounds great, good equalizer also. The stream Tejano from KOVE doesn’t sound as good as your 106.1.


Ingeniero, KOVE HD2 sounds very compressed.

Nice. One of the lowest rated stations now has 4 different options in HD. Also the KLTN & KAMA subchannels have no PTY.
 
I know Ingenieroperron doesn’t have control over this but the ID needs to change. Both the female and male guys doing the Over the hour sound bootlegged . But other than that I flipped to Estéreo Latino.

The female is Sandy Reta, she was on 102.9 way back in the day. Currently she does Metro Traffic reports on several TU stations over voicetrack.

It could be better but i bet they just had to work with was available.
