K-Love has filed to swap the calls of the two stations on Monday (12/22). I would presume that implies the quasi-facility swap will occur that K-Love filed for them in 2023 and the FCC approved.

- The current KMLR 106.3 Gonzales moves to 97.7 and inherits the current KZAR facilities and takes the KZAR calls. For listeners of 97.7, it won't appear anything changes, other than the legal ID change to reflect Gonzales as the city of license.
- The current KZAR 97.7 McQueeney moves to 106.3 and inherits the KMLR calls. However, it does not inherit the current KMLR facilities, whose current tower is near Luling. Instead, the new 106.3's transmitter is midway between New Braunfels and San Marcos to cover the I-35 corridor from the outskirts of San Antonio to the outskirts of Austin. Presumably, it fills the coverage gap between KZLV and KFMK in the two markets.
