Legacy artists on Hot AC

I understand that it's a given that "legacy artists" will still earn spins on Hot AC stations well past their commercial expiration date, but it's kinda weird how it works, at least from my point of view. I read a Rolling Stone article on how programming AC stations (regular and Hot varieties) works, and discovered that Hot AC tends to stick to "over-30" artists more than Top 40 stations do. For example, the Backstreet Boys, an act whose prime was in the late-90s/very-early-2000s, had a single, "Don't Go Breaking My Heart", in 2018. Top 40 stations ignored it, but it was being spun regularly on the Hot ACs.

What are some examples of new material from "legacy artists" that you've heard being spun on Hot AC stations?

I keep thinking of Cher, who had hits in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 2K, and now after her SNL performance the other weekend, she apparently has a new hit song climbing the charts...at 79 years old!

You got my curiosity going, so I looked it up:

You'll find that this legacy artist thing is something that happens a lot with Classic Rock....Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Robert Plant, David Gilmour, to name a few.

Bon Jovi also would apply as a Hot AC legacy artist.

Def Leppard were once big on AC, from what I've been able to gather, but I don't think they've had much luck getting Hot AC spins for their more recent material, though (if I were the programmer of a Hot AC station in 2022, I definitely would have stuck "Take What You Want" from Diamond Star Halos (their most recent album) in the middle of a playlist, it's a decent pop rock number, and "Good 4 U" was already a hit by then, which would naturally meant sneaking in a slightly harder-edged poppy song wouldn't have hurt)
