This is Houston, the Wild Wild West of translator operations. Weāve discussed these things endlessly on this board. Why do you think we still have the Frank Berry sticky at the top of the board after two and a half years?A lot of that is at odds with what the official records say (per FCCdata.org) ..
NOPE. K283CH has no originating station.K283CH is listed as translating KJOZ.
NOPE. KEYH originates the Radio Vision Latina programming on K287BQ 105.3.K258BZ is listed as KEYH's translator.
You probably mean K223CW on 92.5, which is currently running a Regional Mexican format called La Invasora. No originating station.KGBC has a translator listed (K233CW) at 94.5 .
Welcome to reality.š¤Ŗš¤Ŗš¤Ŗ This sort of stuff has been going on for years... it sounds like their filings with the FCC aren't up to date either.

Like I said:And no one has filed complaints yet? I could foresee several NAVs here.
Because they don't exist. The Nielsen notice was basically their way of saying "these stations were fraudulently misrepresenting who they were, but because we want their money we're going to just acknowledge it but look the other way"A lot of that is at odds with what the official records say (per FCCdata.org) ...

Who's to say they haven't? I know people at multiple companies who have attempted toAnd no one has filed complaints yet? I could foresee several NAVs here.

I sent in a complaint years ago and attached an unlisted YouTube video with K231CN interfering with K231DA from within the 45 dBu contour all the way into K231DAās 60 dBu contour. At the time K231CN was originating programming but continues to interfere to this day unfortunately. If the coverage maps for K231CN were accurate this would not happen. And no one has filed complaints yet? I could foresee several NAVs here.
And to add to this KJOZ was only briefly Puro Tejano before going off the air. The last time they were running a translatorās programming was around Christmas when 92.5 was playing Christmas music after ESPN. KJOZ for awhile was mostly running the Latino Sport format which was never on FM.KJOZ 880 has been off the air the past few weeks. When it was last on, it was originating K291CE (Puro Tejano 106.1).
Right, cause all of these translators are totally 100% running by the book.I would do a complaint in a minute but i got nothing to complain about š¤£.
Just need to send in a complaint to fcc. Who has the link for fcc complaint?

It's not agency money those scofflaws are after... it is low budget local direct "neighborhood" services and retailers. What I question is there that much Hispanic Agency money in Houston after the Six or Seven Hispanic stations with at least 1.0 or better 6+ get their buys?
It's really only Houston, K.M. That š© doesn't fly up here, given the quick responses to any legitimately lodged complaints to the FCC Dallas field office. The last time that this outfit "performed any irregularities" in north Texas was with K295BF. Licensed to Royse City, east of Dallas, there was a time where they were blatantly stepping all over KRVF in Corsicana. Giving hell to the first adjacent at 107.1 in Sulphur Springs, too. Anger ensued, complaints were filed, measurements taken, and the facility got slapped with a $25,000 fine. No one's heard a peep from that 106.9 FM, outside of it's own legally-licensed contour, since.I think I'm glad I don't live in Texas.
Comparable to a catfish sucking mud at the bottom of a lake. It's not agency money those scofflaws are after... it is low budget local direct "neighborhood" services and retailers.
