Picked them up in Cleveland, right next to WTAM 1100. Not strong enough to get a clear voice but there was enough getting through the noise that I could make out some bars of "lounge" music and "...107"Someone on social media is claiming Urban One has shut down 1110 WBT after over 100 days of their redirect loop. Yup- clear as a bell at the Winston-Salem SDR

I believe he's talkin' about the AM.
I had a Sunday morning broadcast for like four months, on 'CGC, back in (IIRC) late 2002. I believe the GM's name was Larry Hess.I never had a problem with WBT-AM in Belmont.
In the words of Mr. Crutchfield (sp), This is WBT, just across the street from WAYS.I think 61 Big WAYS could be heard there too. That's what most of the kids liked when I was in high school. I tolerated WBT but it wasn't really what I liked.
All News, back in those days?WSOC had gone all-news.
At my place in Maryland I might have a better signal than parts of the Charlotte market! I believe I could hear WBT on a rusty razor blade and a piece of string![]()
