Penn State considering transferring WPSU to WHYY, Inc.

A little surprised (?) there has been hardly a peep on this recently, unless WPSU-TV/FM are saying something on-air. Less than a month away, and NO FCC filings? Guess everything will go dark and quiet on July 1!

I'm not sure we know the full details of the agreement; like what if WHYY didn't obtain the local (State College area) pre-buy funding they anticipated to pull this off?

My mama said a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. If they shut it down, they have to fire employees. It's easier to give the buyer some time.

But you're right, I didn't see any deadlines or penalties in the reporting from last fall.
