KDKA 100.1 FM what the hell?

You would think a 100 watt light bulb but not be difficult to keep on the air givin they also run a 50,000 Watt blowtorch. But this doesn't seem the case, and it's not a new problem. It's been going on for at least a couple years. The FM translator randomly just dumps completely off the air and then comes back. This morning it's been off all morning.

IIRC they do have a construction permit. IDK if they they have a spare transmitter for the translator but if they don't then there will be silence when physically moving the only transmitter to the other tower. I doubt it will take a whole day to move that small of a transmitter if properly planned. One would think somewhere in a that in a company that big, they would have at least an exciter that they can plug into the old site's antenna.
