I know what you mean one would think TWWOD on Disney+ given where we are now with show and movie promotions. When was the last time TWWOD aired on ABC.

Watch the Department of Justice start investigations of everyone who submits comments to the FCC supporting ABC.. I'm not writing a comment to The FCC since they don't care what I have to say plus I don't want to be on the record LOL.
Like they have nothing better to do...Watch the Department of Justice start investigations of everyone who submits comments to the FCC supporting ABC.
Conservative groups are preparing to urge the Federal Communications Commission to revoke Disney's broadcast television licenses, two representatives told POLITICO — a step that would build on agency Chair Brendan Carr's already unprecedented efforts to punish President Donald Trump's perceived critics in the media.
The petitioners are expected to include a lawyer leading the conservative Center for American Rights who filed complaints against NBC's "Saturday Night Live" and CBS' "60 Minutes" about alleged favoritism toward Kamala Harris during the 2024 presidential campaign. Carr immediately revived those complaints once he assumed the gavel, kick-starting a year and a half of threats and investigations that have left the media industry on edge.
The new petitions will heighten the stakes, injecting politically charged issues such as alleged partisan bias into the FCC's decision on whether Disney should keep its lucrative licenses.
Glad to see Disney fighting this will go to the courts and The FCC will lose. I don't think making comments to The FCC ways those that are on The FCC and I doubt that their reading the comments in my opinion. It's for those that are really passionate about topic that The FCC has to be on the public record. I'm not writing a comment to The FCC since they don't care what I have to say plus I don't want to be on the record LOL.
Although that process could take so long the next President might (hopefully) decide to drop any court appeals. If it does go to a trial, it almost certainly would eventually wind up before SCOTUS; neither side is going to concede until all avenue are exhausted or they reach a settlement.
We can hopeAlthough that process could take so long the next President might (hopefully) decide to drop any court appeals.
True and heres the other part The Trump administration core issues goes all the way back when he was the CEO of Trump inc. He put out this image to the public that the CEO of a company is a dictator for ages and it lead to multiple lawsuits against him directly. We proven it right here we compare him to other CEO's especially companies like Disney. We proven here that companies like Disney need board of directors for approval, Disney needs to deal with consultants from their legal team to investment groups all to respond to stuff like Trumps/Carr's FCC threats. Here is more.i wonder if this drama will lead to Disney/ABC to be the first broadcast TV Network to ditch the free over the air model in favor of a paywall streaming/cable TV broadcasting model just so they don't have to worry about the FCC anymore and put everything behind a paywall and shut their O&O down and force their non-O&O to be force to choose NBC, CBS, Fox, CW, Ion, a random Diginet, go full independent or shutdown.
i know this will be a financial burden but if it's a choice between being free and not bending the knee and airing on a platform that can't have a FCC being run by a fascist dictator go after them or bend the knee and become another propaganda outlet for the dictator's regime, I'm sure Disney will be picking the freedom of streaming option and make money off of standing up against the dictator when the nation is still not quite fully completed the transition from free democracy to autocratic dictatorship with no freedoms.
Gorsuch mentioned the FCC as one of the agencies that could be impacted by the decision.
“Last year, taking objection to a network host’s on-air remarks, the Chairman of the FCC suggested there would be ‘additional work … ahead’ for the agency if broadcasting companies did not ‘find ways to … take action,'” he wrote.
The justice was referencing comments made by Carr, who has been openly critical of Kimmel and other late-night hosts who routinely mock the president and his allies. Carr has repeatedly insisted the FCC has a duty to scrutinize whether major broadcasters who use public airwaves are putting forth content that serves the “public interest.”
He has applied intense scrutiny to ABC specifically, making headlines when he called for a number of local stations owned and operated by Disney, ABC’s parent company, to undergo early license renewal.
The Media Research Center has filed a 27-page petition to deny the ABC station license renewals, on much the same grounds as Trump claims, but also without citeable examples:
ABC is a Partisan Operation Engaged in Active Electioneering, Including Interference in a Presidential Debate
ABC Refuses to Report on Many of the Most Critical Issues of Our Day
ABC Uses Public Spectrum to Excuse, and Even Justify, Political Violence
ABC Spreads Misinformation
Whether or not this is opinion or fact will be up to Acting Media Bureau Chief Alex Sanjenis and his team, as it looks at all of the data and analysis surrounding the unprecedented early license renewal of WABC-TV in New York, KABC-TV in Los Angeles, WLS-TV in Chicago, KGO-TV in San Francisco, KTRK-TV in Houston, WPVI-TV in Philadelphia, WTVD-TV in Raleigh-Durham, and KFSN-TV in Fresno.
FOLKENFLIK: This is Lisa Stark. She was a Washington correspondent for ABC News for more than 20 years.
STARK: I had seen no indication that the network was in a fighting mood.
FOLKENFLIK: Last fall, Stark helped to arrange a petition signed by 200 former ABC journalists, urging then-Disney CEO Bob Iger to stand up to Carr. They heard nothing back.
STARK: So I was thrilled when I saw that Disney and ABC decided enough is enough and drew a line in the sand and said, we have to fight back. The FCC is being weaponized, and we need to do something about it.
