Posted today is applications are technical updates for KJET and KLSY. The proposed tower-for-use is slightly northeast of the currently listed sites. This gives a little more coverage over Seattle proper but because of the lower HAAT the power needed will jump from 33 kw ERP to 40 kw ERP.

Here's the summary from the engineering study:

" Combined operation of KJET, KLSY, and KDDS-aux is proposed with a 6-element circularly-polarized
directional panel antenna system. The antenna will be side-mounted on an existing tower
located atop North Mountain, in the space currently occupied by the KDDS auxiliary antenna
BXMLH-20081014ACE."

Now if only KRXY could move up there and "quadplex"..
 
That’s an interesting update. I’ve heard that tower space on south mountain is extremely limited (not sure if that is still the case today, but I suspect that not much has changed), so this would be a solution for that issue.
 
That would be cool to be able to try listening to Sunny 102.1. I haven't yet been to Ocean Shores to be able to hear their main signal KSWWW. More local radio companies in Seattle, the better.

You'll still get at least some interference from KXSU-LP around downtown.

Not many local radio companies left in Seattle. This could change in 5-10 years as the national firms start getting out of terrestrial radio.
