Steve Green NEPA said:♫ 77 WABC ♫ here, day and night, between Pottsville and Hazleton. They're the closest of the omni 'sticks' of all the NYC stations (although not the loudest 50,000 watter ; that would be directional WOR).
Ye Olde Logbook from the Long Island NY '60s has loggings of WABC, KOB, and HOL-something from Panama, as well as a Costa Rica station on 775.
Nowadays, 770 in the northeast USA had a half-dozen stations which weren't there back in the clear-channelled days. Perhaps some of them might make for some interesting sunset fare.

Days: WBBM splatter
Nights: Null WBBM and WABC shows up....usually with a pretty decent signal. I've also heard WEW and WVNN during "critical hours", but not recently.
