Okay, so we'll have to wait and see what happens on monday. I've heard of stunting for music, with all kinds of formats being played simultaneously, but how do you stunt for a news/talk?

I built my own curriculum, with things like sociology, cultural anthropology and psychology (the three bases of programming), statistics and math (ratings and research), business, finance, accounting, business law, etc. (radio as a business) and of course writing and literature in both of my principal languages. All of this was very helpful in my next position, but, of course, it did not get me a degree of any kind.

Sam Lit said:Wow! That cultural anthropology sure came in handy. Now we see where you get that remarkable far-reaching capacity to comment on every post on every board chest beating the merits of an over researched playlist of 200 for every conceivable format. Riveting. Let us know when the sociology kicks in.

David. Be serious. My family and the name of LIT has dominated Philadelphia radio for decades. As in five. It doesn't take a laboratory experiment for us to create legend, and totally captivate an audience. Legend, David. As in Iconic status. You don’t get that formula from a question and answer session.
Ability to conduct typical on-air interviews and interact with callers; o Being conversational, well-read, knowledgeable, and articulate in dealing with current affairs; Ability to understand and execute format philosophy and work with a team of other professionals in creating a distinctive sound;Ability to work in a fast and concise manner under pressure with demonstrated ability to present live and ad-lib unscripted reports with continuity, meaning, ad clarity.

That sounds pretty darn news/talk to me!

How many #1 stations have you managed, owned or programmed? It's a simple question and goes to the credibility of your broadside two posts ago.
Sam Lit said:It would be insidious to list all of my programming interests.
Suffice to say, my father being the resident matriarch star,
relegated most of the system designs to me.
Generally, I have performed all of the programming interests for my family, since coming of age and launching disco radio in 1975, in Atlantic City.
Having no clue as to our family’s interests, you would also not be aware of many of our other investments or original Music Video catalogues either.
What you will never get from a question and answer session.

I just read that article. Nowhere does it say that the station is going News/Talk.
