100.3 - The New Buzz

Where is their playlist for the week like on every other CC station, you click on the playlist and it takes you directly to the last 10 songs played. I guess the playlist for the week will be put up on monday?

Their ID is now WVBZ/High Point-Greensboro.

I'd like them to be like 98.7-Simon.

Run jockless all day & night w/breakers & sweepers, besides AM Drive.

Bob & Tom are no longer overnights.

On a Rock station, listeners want to hear Rock, not Talk!

The VO guy who does a lot on the Buzz is the same VO guy on 106.5/The End-WEND.

Do you know his name?

--Thanks

You know they can always donate it to High Point University.

We lost our license a few years ago after forgetting to file a renewal (before my time).

MY NEW PREDICTION:

R92 will make Chris and Chris play tunes (again) between 6-11

Yeah, that's exactly what the industry needs......no more jock shifts. ::) ::) ::)

i love the automation. Lot's of good music, and no blabbering jocks to mess up the flow. It might be cc, but at least its not another stale entry into the boring market. If we cant have both, i would rather have good music than good jocks. Besides, it's not as if cc will hire live and local jocks, and imo automation is better than pre-recorded voices.

I dont want to discourage anyone from listening because its a good rockstation, but it looks like CC just satellite fed Project 9-6-1 in Atlanta up to 100.3 The Buzz, I guess this is happening all across the country! I still like the station but come on CC cant you make A LITTLE BIT LOCAL. Is this just for the first week or is this going to be Project 9-6-1 but as 100.3 The Buzz. So i guess there wont be a playlist coming out at 12am. Just wanted to drop that little tid bit of info. I still like the station as i said but come on. I guess this is what CC means by national formats, i guess this is the national Active/Alternative hybrid format?

Sooner or later, there's bound to be a VT'd jock lettin ya know where Pencola's gonna be doin all the remotes

It seems that they are pulling songs from various stations every couple of hours, from between 7-10pm it was the same stuff from 96rock up in the Delmarva. They have their own playlist on the buzz website so i dont understand why they are taking from other stations. This trend might last a couple of months tops, thats my prediction.

They're not even doin the logs in house...this is it....the new ClearChannel world order.

CC has always been the consolidation king. Why would anyone doubt that they'll have standard formats. They may not do it on their really successful stations, but certainly on ALL the second tier stations. I don't doubt it for a nano-second.
Get ready for their Kiss station to change soon. I'm predicting they'll go against KZL.

You guys are lucky, from the looks of the stuff played on yes.com this sounds like a great rocker. Too bad we can't have a similar station up in NY. Instead we have washed up lame rockers.

Don't worry, Hardrocker. Give it a little time. CC is sure to move this format to a location near you. If it's indeed good, then that's great, because you'll hear it in a lot of markets.
