100.3 - The New Buzz

Personally, I'm loving the music! This IS what the Buzzard should've been (newer rock mixed in with a little classic instead of the other way around). I do believe that Bob & Tom will eventually be their morning show (though it's ashame Pencola wasn't given much of a chance to succeed with a morning show before the station flip), with maybe one or two (Satterfield being one of them) local jocks and the rest VT from out of market. While I'm do enjoy the music more since the flip, I don't understand the name change. Honestly, this station could've remained named "the Buzzard" even with the format change. Hell, I've been getting a lot of feedback from my friends who love the station since the flip (and a few who don't) and they all still refer to the station as the Buzzard. I also checked out the website earlier today (for my daily dose of T&A) and noticed that they are still handing out Buzzard stickers & swag at remotes and the broadcast vehicle still has the giant Buzzard on it. Anyway, that's my thoughts on the buzz surrounding the Buzz. (I love bad puns...in fact, if I were a rapper, my name would be Bad Pun!)
 
Oh, how I HATE Bob & Tom! Please, God! Let it be anyone else. NO WAIT! I would take B&T before Rover. I would take Free Beer & Hot Wings over both and I would take Opie & Anthony (I know; their show is dying) over ALL of the above

Looks like Aly from Project 9-6-1 is voicetraking middays, is there any word on who else is going to be voicetracking?

Dang that's depressing.
Just the idea of someone having to ask who's going to be voicetracking a station that's been changed format for two months.

So you had local people in house...even if they were VTing most of the time...and you fire them to pay an out of market jock with zero ties to the Triad to do middays????

It looks like they're just leaving Pencola out there to twist in the wind. No support, no marketing, nothing. I guess that's the CC way.
