101 Posts Why We Hate Krazy K0000nah!

I don't have a problem with Madison, I'm kinda sweet on her, although she did say "Good afternoon" at 10:15 Wednesday morning. I think she's so thrilled being on WBZ at such a young age she forgets what time of day it is.
Such a young age. Exactly how young is she? Maybe it's just me, but, I expect a newsreader to be able to speak English.
"Yesterday nite" ?? What language is that???

Is anyone actually broadcasting from a studio these days or is everyone broadcasting from their basements??? I heard Mark Simone say the other day that it was his first time in the studio since last year. Pags is in his regular studio. Clay and Buck are in a Nashville studio but I'm not sure if they're in an actual studio or if they're broadcasting from Clay's home studio. Buck flies back and forth from NYC to Nashville every week.

I'm fairly certain Pags' studio is at his house. He's always on camera with Polo(Paco?) and Cari. I can recall a few occasions pre-pandemic when he and she were in the studio together... but at this point, given his investment in other social media platforms (Tumbler? Rumbler?) where you watch the live stream at the same time he is broadcasting, I'm not so sure he would go back to a 'regular' studio which doesn't necessarily have the infrastructure to do all these things.

Not sure, but Madison is a recent grad of Emerson College. I've never heard her before she was on WBZ.

Which brings up an earlier point made here: with so few stations doing news, where does a young journalism or broadcast student go to get on-air experience? Heck, even the colleges are shutting down their AM and/or FM stations and going online.

As for in-studio vs home: methinks most of 'BZ's on-air staff is in-studio, except for Mike King (Traffic on the Threes); I haven't checked in on Dan Rea for months; last time I did he sounded as if he were talking over a very cheap (low-bandwidth) phone line. "Great" sound image to present to 38 states at night.

She graduated from Emerson about 2 years ago. Assuming 23 when she graduated, I would guess she is around 26 or 27 years old.

ATTENTION JEFF GOONER, repeat after me, it's a washing machine, repeat, washing machine. SMH. Learn the language man.
It took him a couple of years to learn how to say "on Cape Cod" rather than "In Cape Cod" But he now he often says Arthur on Chestnut Hill. He regularly says up to New York City

I'm starting to think Kuhner is suffering from a persecution complex. Yesterday he was going on and on about how "they" are out to get him and censor him.

It was actually quite sad... I mean, for a guy who didn't even rate on the Talker's Heavy 100 for 2021, I think there are at least 100 other people ahead of Kuhner on the "they" "want to censor" list. I mean, I'm sure "they" want to censor Kuhner before Hannity, after all (eye roll)

Although, perhaps in retrospect, I'm not really sure what was sadder... Listening to Kuhner going on how his "latest column" could disappear at any moment if you didn't immediately click the link before "they" censored it and "got him off the air", or the lemmings calling in lapping it up like oxycodone to a New Bedford resident.

Obviously, "a man of his learning, a man of his education" (LMAO) is seriously lacking in knowledge of basic geography! SMH! Imagine driving with him? Does he still take the 'bambinos' to McDonalds? How long does it take to get there based on his knowledge of geography?

Aaah, yes, sounds like he's been listening to Hannity and following in his footsteps. Hannity is a "victim", whoa is me, no one likes me, don't invite me to your establishment, customers will stop coming. So now GOONER is doing a little twist on victim hood. Does he really think "they" even know he exists? More drama from the queen. I don't get why people listen to him. I'm not a big sports fan, but I listen to sports radio in the morning, there's no drama, no one plays the victim and there's no hysteria, no hysterical laughing and no insulting callers, no exaggerating, no making mountains out of mole hills!

Even the twit made Talkers 100! But but but, the phone lines are blazing and he's going national any day now baaaaaybeeee, honest!

"The Kuhner man is away for a much needed vacation", he'll be back August 2nd. I guess spewing nonsense, calling people names, hysterically laughing and being a drama queen wears a person out! I may actually tune in this Monday to see who's on air.

Hannity makes about $40M per year between TV and radio and is on 500 stations, more or less.
Some victim! The good news for Kuhner is he has not lost any affiliates; same number as before.

Exactly how many affiliates does kuhner have, zero? But but but, not to worry, he'll be going national any day now baaaaaybeee! Yes indeedy!

Actually, I thought Kuhner's affiliate count doubled in the last month alone!

Sooooo, GOONer is doing a promo for tomorrow's show and he's talking about how Charlie "Parker" wants to bring Afghan refugees "down here" to Massachusetts". Does GOONer think Afghanistan is up North somewhere? Can someone explain this?? Anyone???? Bueller?? Bueller?

"Dhere are people who want to take outtt da K000ner man, so I have to say dings like dat to drow dem off my trail"

With all the consolidation and cuts, and stations often opting for satellite feeds rather than local programming, are there even 100 actual talk shows broadcasting in the US? I have no idea...I'm just wondering.

Not sure exactly how many but some talk shows are online only or satellite radio (some of which made the Talkers list)
As for the Heavy Hundred the latest via Talkers is
(top 10) Hannity, Ramsey, Levin, Kilmeade, Joe Madison (Sirius satellite!), Gallagher, Loesch, Hartmann, Michael
Berry, Joe Pags. Stern and Beck are just behind those. Carr #16

#67 is Len Berman and Michael Riedel from WOR. You may remember Len from Ch 4.
#85 ex WRKO John DePetro, #98 Grace Curley

Spinning the dial last week I noticed on Hannity's show he's claiming more than 600 affiliates. Not sure if he's including FM translators. Rush's affiliates have been split up a bit, with some opting for Sexton and Travis and others going for
Bongino, Loesch, local hosts, etc (I think WVMT Burlington VT is running the Fox News Talk guy, JImmy Failla)
