No. In 1987 when Infinity purchased the station from Woody Sudbrink, CBS wasn't in the picture.
CBS purchased Infinity because, at the time of the purchase, Infinity was very profitable. Far more profitable than the CBS group of radio stations.

I am talking about by the time they became one company. 1987, I was 70 pounds lighter.
