I'm the special guest tonight on WCRS' "Pat Radio" show at 6:00, so I invite anyone who wants to have some fun for an hour to tune in! 98.3 or 102.1, and if neither one of those works very well for you then just go to www.patradio.org/blogs/index.php?frontpage, and in the chart near the top of that page click "Pat Radio Podcasts - Click To Start", and then right below that heading click "1. #128 - The Offense Fanzine", which should be highlighted in white. Enjoy!

Definitely fun to listen to -- both the commentary and the music. Thanks, Tim.

I've been using a Uniden BC370CRS 300-Channel All Hazards AM/FM Scanner to listen to the radio station when I'm not in Clintonville, W 5TH Street, Grandview, Upper Arlington for 98.3 or on Morse Road, Bexely, Whitehall and even in Reynoldsburg for 102.1. Since The WHOK translator doesn't reach there.

The Uniden tabletop scanner antenna I'm using is a Tex amplified AM loop antenna and a CCrane amplified UHF/VHF antenna. Heck on smoe nights I can pick up (faintely) 101.5 the other low power FM station from Westerville on some nights.

Since I'm a volunteer for the station it does serve a puropse. There is a Somali refugges population in Columbus and WCRS have two Somali radio show to serve them. No other full power radio station will do that. I'm not couting Afri-Pop on WCBE FM on the weekend's.

The local public radio stations WCBE and WOSU FM/AM will not touch Dem Now or Free Speech Radio News. They only do safe public radio programming. When is the last time WOSU AM Open Line have any revelent topics?

Then most people (who post here) doesn't want any diversity on radio. Just top 40 FM stations and right wing talk shows on the AM.
