102.7 On the Air

So apparently, HVB is not still stunting and are showing commitment to this crap!?! Jeeeezzzzz. While in town last weekend (at the races), I spoke to a HVB Insider and this place is falling apart. Staff leaving K'Port left and right, they had to buy 95.9? I thought they already owned it. Someone else offered a ton of $ for 95.9 and HVB had to match it!!! I heard 4.5 mil! That station is a market and money loser!!! How do you pay for that? Oh yeah, no money for talent or programming!

I would say HVB will soon be on the block! Now, WTFM won't be able to pay all of the bills, they just started cutting into their own station! Maybe they should quit running stations and just start ruining stations...oh wait, they are! Give it up HVB! Did I say I used to work there?

Back to the car lot....
 
The tag voice on 102.7 has got to be the Big Sweet Tea or Taylor Morgan, I'll swear to it. It gives her something to do and relieves the budget for the operation of the new frequency-duh? Costs too much for someone else to do it. After what? 2 weeks? Still sucks. woof!

Have you driven thru Kingsport lately? The HV building was built during the Civil War and downtown smells like Eastman. The "compound" is not beautiful....I' ve been there.
