Curmudgeon alert.
To me this just reinforces the Bul^%%%% associated with all the "move-in" (not Movin') mindset. BIG push by the owners/investors to "get another signal in there" followed by years of effort by programmers of "what the heck are we going to DO with it"? Cart leads horse. If something is even REMOTELY successful, all it does is dilute audience shares for each player.
Would LOVE to hear of a cluster of significant size (say 4 or more stations) in any decent market that isn't currently thinking "What are we gonna do with ????" because they constantly have at least one under-performer to deal with.
This isn't a slam on ownership...it's a slam on allowing 2 billion signals into every market that weren't necessary in the first place.
