Do they even have a morning show at all yet?
Besides the 5'o'clock Traffic Jam & the 2 on-air personalities, what other specialty programs or mixshows have they added?
I have noticed songs being added periodically, which is great, but some songs (especially those released after 2005) should also be played less often.
The station should be sounding like when they were at their prime with their highest ratings as the original "102 Jamz", probably around 1993ish. I do understand that the budget is not there for it today, but I want to see this station succeed as is, without adding newer music or skewing into another format for the sake of ratings.
As I have said before, I have noticed my own radio show's listener interactions & online stream listener count shown inside the WPRK 91.5FM studio has been back to normal, maybe even higher, & stayed constant since mid-September from that temporary August null when 102 Jamz was still "nice, new, & shiny" with "10,000 songs in a row". I have adjusted my playlist a bit since they returned, & am enjoying the positive feedback from my fans who have actually noticed the slight tweak. 2025 will be my 20th year on-air without making a single penny doing my radio show, & I am thankful for my fans & listeners have stayed loyal with me, even when there is paid competition with stronger FM signals in this market.
