104.9 FM Anchorage

I guess I'd agree with you. I'm also not their target audience, and other than the late 80s stuff I remember from those awkward high school dances, I rarely stay on this station beyond one or two songs. But their advertising is heavy, which is good, and their target audience is huge and growing. I suspect they'll have pretty decent ratings numbers in the next report. I still think that the market is just too oversaturated to see any station ever get astronomical ratings like in other markets our size, but for someone like me, who's finally on the outside of the radio (and tv) business, that's not really any concern of mine anymore.

anyone know if they've launched a website yet -- i can't find one

Not to the best of my knowledge. TATI broadcasting is a bubble gum and tape operation - they'll likely take their time on that one.

Re: 104.9 FM Anchorage-bu bye?

I had heard that the Movin logo and name is no longer going to n=e heard in Anchorage after this month. Can anyone substantiate this?
