but for the 4 years ive been paying attention, it hasnt happened.. so maybe before 2006 there was a top 5 book, definitley wasnt their last one...
That's kind of the ENTIRE POINT! KWOD was a successful and viable station before the Entercom purchase. In the late 90s and early 2000s when it was competing with KRXQ, KWOD was much more successful than you're giving them credit for. It wasn't until Entercom took over, neutered it musically and promotionally by not allowing it to compete head-to-head with KRXQ, and canned most of the staff that the station began to sink in the ratings. To say nothing of the damage they did with the KWOD 2.0 fiasco. So to say a station was never successful simply because they haven't been successful during your limited attention span is completely asinine and a good way to lose whatever scrap of credibility you might have. Nicely done.
but mr don v stated that kwod was top 5 in its last book. they were 18th in all demos, except for 18-35 men. (ok you had one. ( most likely due to adam carolla) numbers were still weak though.
if you wanna believe that you were doing so well, go ahead, what ever makes you feel better about your terrible performance.
KWOD is gone for a reason. no one was listening.
and yes mr sims , er i mean donnie v, i can read. i just couldnt believe someone was living in such a fantasy that kwod was doing well....
if it were doing well, it would still be here and you'd still have a job. however a decent programmer would have canned your ass and put someone on that people would listen to. just sayin. you were 2nd to last in yourdaypart.
