What's up with 1067?
Seems like there was a quiet change in music last Friday night going into Saturday (according to yes.com)
They were playing pop-leaning alternative like O.A.R., The Fray, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Gin Blossoms, Goo Goo Dolls, etc alongside 90s grunge and modern rock. That's all gone.
Now, there's Theory of a Deadman, Nickelback, Tool, Mudvayne, even Li'l Wayne, mixed in with 90s grunge staples like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Smashing Pumpkins. Looks like active rock is sneaking back into town under the "Radio 106.7" banner and just in time for Rock on the Range?
There have been significant market changes since 106.7 entered in late 2007. 99.7 dropped active rock, 97.1 dropped hot ac, and 107.9 picked up hot ac with a slight alternative lean.
