There'a always room for another talk station if it is done correctly., e.g., local, local, local... If it's national, syndicated talk with no or very little local news, then I would agree and say there's no room for a third talk station. The key is local radio with a strict focus on the local community which includes news, commentary, community affairs, and listener/caller driven. Additionally, the station actually has to take the time to get actively involved in the community - VISABILITY - BEING SEEN and supporting LOCAL events!!!
If you take the above and mix it together, then you have a recipe for a successful radio station.
