They own lots of stations. They're all on Apple Music.
Country and CHR are what iHeart does best with the biggest national morning shows so either of those predictions seem pretty solid.

I know you are joking, but remember that Apple has 3 radio stations it runs already, and they are quite well done.

Come Wednesday at Noon....The All New 107.9 KISS FM, launched by On Air With Ryan Seacrest.
IHeart must be betting on CHR to find its mojo again sooner rather than later.
They'll have be careful with that name. KSFM has a half a century of heritage with their calls. The new station probably won't say KISS-FM, as it sounds too much like KS-FM. My guess if the rumor is true, it'll be 107.9 KISS

Either a leak or a guess based on the breadcrumbs left. We won’t know until 12 noon on Wed.
Rock-based '70s-'90s or rhythmic-based '90s and '00s with a few strong '80s titles? The former could peel listeners and ad dollars away from Audacy's classic rock KSEG yet cannibalize iHeart's own KYRV, The latter would complement urban AC KHYL and establish its own niche in the market. I vote the latter.Maybe 107.9 should go Classic Hits with the brand name "Old School 107-9"
