It's a shame though to see so many out of town voice trackers. But as many people have said on this thread it's the typical iHeart way.
Well, unless you're running radio stations in NYC, LA, or SF, in which most personalities are indeed local. iHeart may not be as inclined to spend a lot of money in Sacramento unless it's for KFBK.It's a shame though to see so many out of town voice trackers. But as many people have said on this thread it's the typical iHeart way.
It’s rhythmic ac I was somewhat right
It wasn't worth typinganyone taping the launch yet?
For the demos they are targeting. Sacramento is a lot more diverse than it was."The station that sounds like Sacramento." 🥴🥴🥴
Sort of, when it comes to target demos. KZZO is a bit less gold-oriented for a Hot AC/Adult Top 40, and they aren't as heavy on songs released prior to 2008.They’ll also pull from 100.5.
The same slogan that also described KOPW Omaha and the now-defunct “Energy 94.1” KTFM San Antonio."The station that sounds like Sacramento." 🥴🥴🥴
100.5 is their target. So who is Kiss going after Now or Mix?
Live 95.5 still sounds like Portland! The same slogan that also described KOPW Omaha and the now-defunct “Energy 94.1” KTFM San Antonio.
Some would interpret "2000s" as being the entire millennium so far rather than just 2000-2009 (or 2001-2010 for all those "there was no year 0" nitpickers).Wait, not even 40 minutes into the launch, and they have played 2 songs from the 2010s (California Gurls, Cheap Thrills). I know it's the beginning but....
True, though I would expect songs from the 2010s to be sprinkled in over time rather than be played right out of the gate. Then again, the newly launched station considers Katy Perry, fun., and The Weeknd as core artists. Oddly enough, Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake are not mentioned on the press release despite the latter artists having strong presence on MTV back in the day. Some would interpret "2000s" as being the entire millennium so far rather than just 2000-2009 (or 2001-2010 for all those "there was no year 0" nitpickers).
This is a unique launch in that a (virtually) new frequency is being established. Why is there a sweeper in between every song kind of annoying
I hope the rating be Good, I got 107.9 on my PresetThis is a unique launch in that a (virtually) new frequency is being established.
iHeart has to make people aware that there is actually a station at 107.9 in addition to the musical presentation.
This will continue for a while, likely until hosted shows start.
