Thus, he says, the judge has ordered arbitration. Further, he says he filed a Lis pendens today, an action that prevents a litigant from encumbering property which is the subject of a lawsuit. Generally, those motions are routinely granted but the other party may call for a hearing to have it set aside. I would expect that to happen.
