1270 Wuco format change

You know, I have to take exception to the repeated statement here that WUCO never made money. During the Jack Frost era which had to be 1993 to about 1999 he did make money a good living as a matter of fact. When he decided to retire he ask me to broker a deal for a sale for him and I did to Ed Johnson's company. Jack and I both made money on the deal. Up to that time he carried a ton of local news, every hour, high school sports, the Indians and all local programing. No national stuff except USA network news at the top of the hour. He and WUCO were well liked in the community. His wife, Mary, was also a local merchant with a local bakery. Jack was one of the best local broadcasters I have known. It was before he purchased the station and after he left that the operation lost money. Jack proved that you can make money in local radio by being local and you can definitely make moeny in Marysville at WUCO.
