I have other things to do at that time monday, like crocheting a new scarf for my mom or smoking meth, which are two far more interesting things you can do than listen to The Ticket ;)

Greggo started out crocheting. That's all I'm saying. Crocheting = gateway drug.

It was announcing TicketStock and the special guest. Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Nice guest, but no big announcement ever amounts to much. Its the stuff that is not talked about or is talked around that is the most interesting.
 
So Roger Murdoch, airplane pilot will be ticketstock. Not complaining, but its always the same old song and dance. Why dont they move it to a bigger venue??
 
It's nice they found someone with a lot a relevance to the DFW area ??? I guess their first selections of Cal Ripken and Franco Harris weren't available.

Guests like these don't just magically happen..I'm sure he's promoting something in the area and they were able to secure him that way. Not a huge deal for a station with a budget.

Because their events aren't nearly as well attended as they used to be or as popular as the station wants you to think. Check out the sparse crowd pics of their charity football in October on their website. Maybe 1k in an arena that seats about 11k.

BUDGET??? BUDGET??? This is Cumulus we're talking about there is no budget. I am sure that the vendors they bring in will be paying for Roger... I am Kareem. I think it's pretty good considering the times we are in... I was expecting Rocco and Expo to be on this year's Ticketstock. They will need a good turnout this year after the Whocaresbowl was a Ghost town.

Tick Tock on the GM over there... If Ticketstock tanks he may be spending his time on career builder.com
 
How long does Cumulus let the Ticket have free reign with the management bashing, bragging, etc etc with the PPM showing their TRUE audience?
 
Good question John, basically its probably the only station making money for the cluster as a whole, so they get a little more free reign. Also, does anyone know about this "hinted" issues with Sturm and managment that were mentioned on air today??
