1370 Talk Radio now on FM

I think WOAI would be the best choice, especially if you are travelling. During the day, you can pick it up as far north as Waco without static, as far east as Houston, as far west as near Ft Stockton, and as far south as Mexico. If you go further north than Waco, you can pick up the 'Boys on KRLD 105-3, the flagship.

It's a shame that Austin's Cowboys Radio Network affiliate has a crappy signal, but at least you have options. When they are on KVET, you are right, they will broadcast women's volleyball over the Cowboys. I run into that same problem when I try to listen to my Astros on KVET, as they will run women's tennis over the 'Stros. Now, you have to deal with a crappy signal, but again, tune into WOAI 1200AM, and you will be fine.

Yesterday, the translator for 1370 Talk Radio was down. I heard Magic 105.3 from William Cannon all the way to 183 & Burnet. Is this the end of another beginning for translator K287AY?

And it looks like that move will (finally) happen... FCC has issued a construction permit for 96.3.

The FM band is getting way to crowded now. It is hard enough to DX to San antonio with all the FM translators in Austin. This could effect San antonio HD also if they ever increase the HD signals to full strength has the FCC ever thought about HD Radio or do they see it dead also?

Unfortunately for you the FCC and likely any radio operation could care less about DX hobbyists since when you are DXing, their local signals are usually getting hurt at the same time.

KRNH showed up in the San antonio ratings the last 2 times. More people must be DX'n now.
