I was very disappointed to hear Sirius Left streaming on 144 this morning. I was hoping, really hoping, that Sirius was working on developing a new liberal talk channel to balance the three conservative talk channels they have (Right, Patriot and ABC Talk).
They still may be doing so. A reply I got from Sirius today was very vague ...

Though they say they are "working to develop and exciting new programming lineup for Sirius Channel 144," they say nothing about it being a liberal talker. That makes me think it won't be. In fact, it's location on the dial (right next to Maxim Radio) makes me think they're grooming it to be Howard Stern's channel. Is that the "exciting new programming" they are working on?
I hope, at the very minimum, they find a place to air Stephanie Miller's full show live.
I'm hanging onto my Sirius radio for now. But if nothing happens on 144 in a few weeks ...
