Ben Franklin was a very wise man whom I admire. I have most of his books and other Franklin writings in my library. And, yes, I think "good ole' Ben" did associate beer and God together somehow in bringing happiness to mankind. Poor Richard's (as opposed to Little Richard) Almanac has some of the best and profound proverbs I've read.
 
See, so we should unite, and our slogan should be " BE LIKE BEN", uh wait, Frankin, Not Rothlesberger. I do admit, i find the uproar in Columbus hysterical, after " "Big Ben" was accused
of peeing on a tree. They should be outraged, no Ohio State Fan has ever left a game, very drunk, and peeded on a sacred Ohio tree. You know, the last 3 times, Ben has caused outrage, it was a sympton of something being down, his zipper. You Ohio State fans stay classy, and Mr. Tillery, you have a nice day. Oh, and for your sanity, the man who is making inane points to you.
Just listen to his weekend show on 740, same name. You will realize how far down the food chain he is, and would be better spent, using his time to do ANY showprep. ANY MAN. PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF GOD, i shouldn't get lost 50 seconds into the break. One day, i thought i was listening to Art Bell on ACID. I was looking at my radio, like Hannity had said, just kidding, love Obama. And then, you will stop answering him. Then we can be like Ben, have a beer, zipper up.

Does Art Bell still have a radio show? I haven't heard him in years since George Noory took over as host of Coast-To-Coast AM.

and you arent a weekend DJ that talks in circles, then , relax.

I just noticed, that people have started picking at you on other threads
when you simply tell it like you see it, i dont mean other sites. I have noticed
that you have been around awhile, and when you answer a question with facts,
there always seems to be somebody who challange or make snarky comments.
And one thing i have learned here, if you defend yourself, which you do
there are people just looking for a reason to say anything nasty. soooo
now that we are all on the same side, Mr Tillery, and Mr Walter, lets join
ole Ben at lunchtime today, and drink one for electrcity!
But since he also founded the Post Office, it proves me may have drank to many.
 
Shoothoops, once again I have to agree with you about some of these individuals who log-on and have nothing more to offer then a smurky comment. They even go as far as to correct ones spelling, but
most of what I enjoy reading in here, like you, comes from well rounded reliable radio sources for the most part and then there's a handful of em who do nothing more then show their ass's and babble on about a bunch of nothing trying to show just how smart they are about radio when in fact their clueless and don't know diddly about radio, and they know who they are.

I refer to these as BLOG-FLOGGERS hiding behind their tiny little screen names and most of whom don't even live in or around the Orlando broadcast market..

Everybody can agree to disagree that's they fun in it, but when some of these clowns have to go as far as correcting my spelling to make their point, geezzzz enough said....

Art Bell was the original host of Coast-To-Coast AM, now hosted by George Noory, heard overnights on many News-Talk outlets. With Art Bell as host, the program revolved mostly around the para-normal, usually having something to do with polar shifts in the Earth or visitors from the edges of the universe.

It it were only possible, I'd love to sit down with Ben, have a beer and discuss the post office, electricity and many other things to which "ole Ben had a direct involvement and influence.

As for me, I don't hide behind anything. My screenname IS my real name. I also have included my full name, company name and contact information in my signature on every post I make, so what you see with me is, indeed, real and not a pseudo-name.
 
Stormy , my friend, you nailed it. Thats why i am a reader, cause one of the few times, i try to set people straight on what this market used to be, you get ripped. And i was telling Mr Tillery that i knew the person who was ripping at him, and i said, dont bother defending yourself, this person isn't worth it ( Art Bell on Acid, was KIND) and somebody else jumps and thinks it's them. so once i settle that, i breath depply, and go back to reading. The only reason i posted, was to answer a question or try to share something. In Mr Tillery's case WARN him, he was trying to have a discussion with a ******, who when he supposed to be paying attention to his on air work, is typing on this board. I knew, because of that person's post times. The Worst thing, as a real on air talent ( me) to read somebody take you out or say how bad you suck on air ( no, not screen name) you have to hold yourself back, and remember, all the jack ass, negative, stupid, he sucks, i know everything, i could be better, horrible radio station, comments ? Come from has-beens, never was, board ops, banner hangers with terrible work ethic, and fired with cause people.
You want a good laugh, there are people posting on this board, that actually dont know, and pick fights, with KABRICH. as in Randy Kabrich, as in he was there inside Q-105. i know him. he doesn't know me as a lover of basketball (screen name) But let me tell you, when some knucklehead , who has no clue he is talking to one of the 5 wise men of radio, it's hysterical. Randy is deadlier, then the CIA guy on the Grassy nole when JFK got in the crosshairs. But, he doesn't start it, he waits until a banner hanger rips him, and i laugh my ass off. i have complimented him on how quick and deadluy he is with these fools, and there is no return , drawn out fight, one dose of Randy, and he turns you french with a white flag. Oh, and dont sweat the spelling, i have been searching for a spell check on this thing, the only suggestion i would make to help those of us who were high in spelling class
 
JMTILLERY Dude, My comments weren't directed at you, I happen to enjoy reading what you have to say, your one of the more intelligent posters in here and at least you something of interest to say.

A lot of postings are taken out of context and thats understandable, I like reading good sound radio comments and ideas, you seem to have a lot to offer.

And NO you don't hide behind your screen name. My comments were directed at the ones who do.

I wasn't sure exactly who were refering, so I threw out that disclaimer for clarification. Thank you for the kind compliment. I'm very happy to hear (or read) that, for whatever it may be worth, you enjoy reading my posts.
