MTHBSTR said:#1. I didn't quote any Arbitron numbers. I gave you a vague range from which to deduce.
#2. I am not "probably wrong, anyways." Last year WQRT had a 0.4 share when Arbitron still allowed non-subscriber numbers to be published. You also had Deters, Ramsey, and Furman then. I saw some of the afternoon combined numbers with Ramsey and Furman and they were respectable. But even then, your weekly cume was in the 30s. I don't think it's really out of the question to think those numbers haven't budged, especially given the popularity of Ramsey, who is now at WKRC.
#3. We can disagree on what is a good radio interview. All I know is that when the interviewer really has nothing to add other than to talk abbout his 12:30 AM TV show, and the interviewee just starts giving out information for his club appearance because there's uncomfortable silence, I would call that a bad interview. Pollak also joked about the lack of phone calls. Dean said the phone was broke. (Not "broken." He said "broke.") On a side note, a friend who works third shift used to listen to Deters on his way home in the morning. He went to 1160 out of force of habit, and heard the interview. He said it was the worst thing he'd ever heard and he had no idea who this Dean guy was.
someone told me that they saw cumes much higher than what you're quoting.... We never missed Furman. Ingraham is pretty strong, IMO.
Dean did well on Warm. He'll outperform Deters. BTW, we are in talks with Arbitron about a multi station deal. Hopefully, this will make having the Cincy numbers affordable.
