2008 in orlando radio?

now it's time to think of 2009.

so what about next year? i see some big changes next year... not sure what but i can feel it :).

Thanks.

Let's see...I'm not living in Orlando anymore, but I'll throw somethings out:

CC will have another bloodbath. All but one shift on 104.1 will be a satellite program. Real Radio weekends will get cut back. All automation, possibly replaced altogether with sat. repeats. WFLF will get sold off as CC focuses on the FM.

CBS will sell their cluster to Bonneville. Possible FM News or sports station if 105.9 flops.

Honestly, unless stations trade hands, expect a bland 2009 on the FM unless "workforce reduction" sounds exciting to you. AM might be more interesting to look at.

I am taking this direct from www.cflradio.net in regards to the axing at wmmo. vary sad indeed.

WMMO Lets Go Of Two Longtime Personalities 11-15-08
WMMO-FM 89.9 has shown the door to two of its longtime voices. Jerry Steffen, who has been with the station since 1990 and
Jay Francisco who has been with the station since 1994 were both let go earlier this month.

and bob if your reading, it's 98.9 not 89.9. just wanted to let you know of the error :). thanks.
