2013 new syndicated shows

Bethany Frankel replaces Anderson Live, and while not a CW show per se, Arsino Hall will be moving into the 11 and 10pm slots on many of its stations.

Heard there will be a new DNA test show called "The Test", and isn't Queen Latifah trying for a come back?

"isn't Queen Latifah trying for a come back?"

Yep. Sony Pictures TV is the syndicating producer this time around, and the relaunch is this fall. Evidently the pilot created a strong buzz, as a result of which this one is thought to be among the strongest Fall 2013 syndication contenders. The 16 CBS O&Os committed to it as a group after winning a bidding war with the NBC O&Os.
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are executive-producing.

There's room for it since some of this past fall's contenders (Jeff Probst, Ricki Lake's return) look unlikely to make it to a second season, and other shows (including second-year program Anderson Cooper Live) have already been told they won't return in September. Only the top tier veteran talk/variety shows like Live with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan, Rachael Ray, Ellen, Steve Harvey and Wendy Williams are certain to be back this fall...along with the trash-talkers like Jerry Springer and Maury Povich.

The most interesting one I've read about so far is Cops: Reloaded from 20th Television. Seems the studio will be pulling the original shows from the cable nets in favor of these re-tooled shows to be shown in "Pop-Up Video" style :D

Actually, not all of the CBS O&Os are going to pick up "Queen Latifah": Weigel's WCIU/Chicago has the show for Fall 2013. At the same time, it'll be interesting to see what will happen with Betheny, since it will be going up against the former and its also generating strong buzz as well.

As the new talkers, if Ricki Lake make it to a second year that will be a surprise in itself.

I know her show is like Kleenex with the sad stories, but it's 10x better than those Springer ripoffs that are all over Fox/CW/MNTV affiliates right now!

I can tell you that Jeremy Kyle won't be on in 2013. His show's already been cancelled in the US. His UK style show didn't work out too well as a US show. I'm waiting to see if Trisha gets renewed for another season.

Jeopardy/Wheel of Fortune/Family Fued/Insider/Inside Edition/E. Tonight/Access Hollywood/Access Hollywood Live/TMC/Price Right/Ask America/The List and so on will also be back.

UPDATE: 'Trisha' has been renewed for the next season.

Also, 'The Price Is Right' is on CBS. ...Or are you implying that another new syndicated version will come in the fall?

Is "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" coming back with a new host, or is this curtains? Personally, I have no problem with putting this thing to bed.

I just wish that somebody would try a new game show for syndication....I can't recall when the last new-idea game show was trotted out for syndication.

New host - and I hope it's Cat Deeley or Tom Bergeron!

First of all, it's yet another stupid, fake Byron Allen court show! Oh yeah! ::)

2. BizKids aired on PBS stations - and just like Dragonfly TV, Telco seemed to buy reruns.

3. Is Glee going to be a weekend repeat?

As far as BizKid$ Telco could be buying packaging rights for reruns, but there are commercial-free episodes airing on PBS stations across the country which were produced at least as late as December 27, 2012. The show itself is produced by BizKids LLP and PBS affiliate WXXI-TV in Rochester, New York with underwriting from the national association of credit unions.

Wait, she had her own show for two non-consecutive seasons, and thinks she run this show, too. Didn't she get a clue the first time? Was never impressed by her. I'd take Judge Hatchett over her any day.

Isn't this her THIRD go-round?
